I want to put 4 new fans in my case (3 x 140mm and 1 x 120mm) but only have 2 fan headers on my mobo. Both fan headers have 4 pin connectors, but the fans I want to use have 3 pin connectors. How would I go about doing this? Could/should I use this https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812987008 or this https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812987007&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-PC-_-pla-_-Cables+-+Power+Splitter+Cords-_-N82E16812987007&gclid=Cj0KEQjwnPLKBRC-j7nt1b7OlZwBEiQAv8lMLC6aMLcPt5vwsSrn-rprCWN8l6M31RBOvIDda2qMzXUaAr6Q8P8HAQ ? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Solution
Use the 3 pin splitter cable. This will connect correctly to the 3 pin fans. The mobo fan header support both 3 and 4 pin connectors. The 3 pin splitter connector only fits on the fan header one way. So , there's no guessing which 3 pins to use.
