but it does have optical Optical S/PDIF Out Connector. so cant i just get one of those? You will need a sound card or external DAC that supports surround sound, that motherboard does no have the necessary 3.5mm sockets.
and what do i do with the third aux jack?Look at page 18 of the manual
But the tl;dr version of it is:
SPDIF won't output surround sound unless the application is using DTS or Dolby encoding, which most won't be.
- You have to use the audio control panel to change the behavior of the jacks
- The mic input on the back becomes the rear speaker output
- The front mic input becomes the center/sub speaker output
Most cases have front panel audio. Though some may only have headphone out or for some reason, a combo jack. If you don't want wires sticking out of the front of the case, you can get something like this and jury rig something.and what do i do with the third aux jack?
can i get a front panel or smthg? or back adapter panel?
or ill have to do sound card
Did you read the manual?I do have two jacks on the front panel, but i still need tio stick the third one somewhere
thank youDid you read the manual?
For 5.1 you use both rear jacks and the mic input of the front panel one.
