How to connect a Dell Latitude LM to the internet

Hey,

So I've had a Dell Latitude LM TS30G in my possession for a long time but it's been pretty useless because it was left sitting in a shed, doing nothing for about 17 years. So I decided to mess around with it and I was wondering how to connect this laptop to the internet. I think you need to use the Serial port in order to connect to the internet. However I'm not sure that this pc can handle modern day internet.

So: How do I connect it to the internet? Would a RJ45 ethernet to Serial port work? send help

I do not think that computer could handle the modern internet protocols.

fair enough. i just wanted to mess around with it. and yeah i'm only keeping it as a collectors piece. it's a pretty much mint condition late 90's laptop and no bad sectors on the harddrive and what-not, so it's pretty good for its age.

thanks for the replies none-the-less. i'll just use floppy disks to transport files.

This will get you an internet connection.
If you have windows xp or possibly 2000 on the PC then you can try to find an old version of browser that will support HTML 5 and even then you will likley have some issues with some newer websites.
