Hey there-

In the middle of my first build and I've hit my first snag. As I went to connect the front panel USB 2.0 connector to the designated spot on the mobo, I noticed that one of the tiny wires going into the connector from the front panel was not connected and was showing the bare wire. (Apologies in advance if I'm using the wrong terms for anything, this is my first build.)

I was wondering if there's an easy way to reconnect it? Or does it really come down to me having to find a replacement set of wires? Appreciate any and all answers!

Hi,
You can buy a a cable with a 9 pin USB connector (to whatever other USB connector), cut the cable at about half length and solder the wires with those from the case (remove the broken connector). Solder the wires one by one so that you don't mess the wires position (pinout).
