How to connect computer to tv using HDMI with no graphics card.

I want to connect my desktop computer to my TV using the HDMI port that is on my computer's motherboard. I am using a CPU with integrated graphics so I don't have a graphics card. Since my motherboard has a HDMI port can I hook up my computer to my TV just the same as if I had a graphics card. I just want to be able to simply plug in my computer and it will show up on my TV. Thanks for any answers!

You can totally do that no problems. Usually laptops have a hot button on the f keys that turns on a second display. You can send audio as well if using windows just right click the speaker icon and click playback devices right click the tv and set as default.
