I have a windows 10 desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. It is a pre-built system with one HDMI port coming from the graphics card.

I run my HDMI to one TV that I use for work (I work from home). I also have another TV that is connected via a YAMAHA RX-A680 receiver (HDMI from desktop to receiver and from receiver to TV). I use this for movies, TV and gaming. Each TV has a different size/resolution.

Currently I physically switch my HDMI cable and when I work or want to watch/play something. I'm using the Windows 10 App for Dolby Atmos when I'm connected through the receiver.

Aside from the annoyance of having to switch the cable each time, when I switch from my work station to the receiver, it sometimes doesn't give me the Dolby Atmos option and I have to restart for it to reappear.

I've looked at two options:
1. Wireless connection to my work station (as long as it includes sound and I can run my webcam for video calls).
2. Using an HDMI splitter.

Mainly I want to avoid having to change out the cable all the time and the issues with Dolby Atmos disappearing.

Does any one have any input on these 2 options or other solutions that might work better?

The GTX 1060 should have more than one output, though it might just have a 1 HDMI port. e.g.

That means you can make use of the other ports with just small adapters, like DVI-to-HDMI adapter, or display port to HDMI adapter, and then just simply connect to the display with the hdmi cable. And if you got 2 hdmi cables you can have both displays connected at all times. There is no need to switch, unplug/replug etc.

Looks for stuff like this...

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the fast response and sorry for the dumb question. My brain just ignored the display ports and focused on HDMI.
I'll pick up an adapter today!
