How to connect laptop to sony hdtv

What cables do i need to connect laptop or pc to my Sony hdtv?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

That's depend of the video ports of your laptop and HDTV. I assume that your HDTV have VGA and HDMI, so, if your laptop have both, use the HDMI and you need a HDMI cable like THIS.

If your laptop don't have the HDMI port, you need a cable like THIS
