I recently bought a new nvidia 1050 ti gpu. Took it to some computer guys, they installed it. Then I realized that i need to connect my monitor to the gpu itself to actually use it. How do i do that.

Specs:
i5-4460 3.20 Ghz x4
Intel HD 4600 Integrated
Motherboard: GA-H97M-HD3

I think the GPU is an ASUS Expedition model because of the ASUS logo on it and the black and red streak bottom. Right now i have an HDMI cable connecting the monitor directly into the CPU/Motherboard. How do I connect it to the GPU itself? thanks.

Solution
1: Leave HDMI cable plugged into monitor
2: Unplug other end of cable from motherboard
3: Plug this end into HDMI port of 1050 Ti card
4: Boot computer and everything should be auto-detected

If you didn't see where the computer shop put the new card it will be halfway down the case like this picture.

Computer shop guy may have left the plastic port plugs covering the video ports to prevent dust getting inside, if so they just pull out.
