Hello, just wondering how I can connect more than 3 monitors to my computer all on extended screen. Is it possible to get some kind of 1 to 2 HDMI cable adapter thing?

You can only use as many monitors as your gpu supports/has ports. However if this is just for having the same image on another screen there are boxes and cables that do this.

Yeah, I figured the performance would be poor. Nothing wrong with that if it's an office setup, but I'd never recommend them for gaming.

Can you be more specific as to your needs?
Usually, you need an adapter output for each monitor.
Many discrete cards can output to 4 monitors.
Some integrated adapters can output to 3 monitors.

Then,, your motherboard permitting, you can install multiple discrete graphics cards.

Wait so I just plug in the displayport one into my pc and then I can have 3 HDMI monitors?

yes.
That's why display port is vastly better than HDMI.
