how to connect my laptop to my android hotspot

U need a WiFi connection to surf the web on my laptop so I was wondering how to use the hotspot on my android Verizon phone to make that connection?

You just turn the hotspot on and setup your ssid and password, then on laptop you connect to it like you would any other wifi network

make sure your mobile data is on then go to settings > network > tethering > wifi hotspot
