Hi all, this is my first time posting here.

I saw someone in the internet, using their unused monitor lcd or buy new lcd to connect to the pc, as the system monitor. I want to that too, but then i remembered that i have an old Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact that i no longer use(few broken parts) and the LCd still working great. Unfortunately, I dont know the type of the flex cable connector that sony used to connect lcd to mainboard. I tried google, too many different that i got, fpc, fpv, mipi, dps. But non of it quite same with my cable. Attached here is the cable connector head. Hope i can know the type of the cable and find the controller board to connect the lcd to my pc

The flat ribbon is from the lcd, the other that have connector is to the mainboard. I want to know is this lcd possible to connect or to find the board that can support this lcd, either directly to the lcd or to the other connect. Hope someone can help me, thankd

Possible? Yes, but you would have to make the interface board yourself🤷‍♂️ A LCD alone is nothing without the controller chip "proprietary ", backlight driver, and digitizer controller. There are kits out there that supply all this for you or you can just take any working Tablet, Windows, or IOS device and do the same thing using software.
