You likely can't. A router is considered a "server" it provides WiFi to ends devices like pc or phones "client". To work the router would need be able to act as a end device and would need the "client" function. The router software would need a special feature to set it to that mode. You might be able to load third party firmware like dd-wrt to get that feature but your router would have to be on the list of routers that support dd-wrt firmware.

Buying new hardware is the easiest way to do this. Engenius and Ubiquiti both have wireless bridges that work as routers. I used an ENS202 -- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168115 sitting in a window in my house to connect to my neighbor when FIOS was bought by Frontier and it took them a week to get my service back.
