How to Connect NZXT Hue+ RGB Extension Kit

So I got the NZXT Hue+ Aero 140mm x2 fan combo, when I open it, I find that it does not come with any kind of rgb strips, which I thought it did.

So can I simply just buy an extension kit and should it work? Will it have the proper connections?

So, you bought the same NZXT AER140 RGB & HUE+ kit as i did. To get NZXT HUE+ Extension kit (LED strips) working,

You need to contact NZXT customer support and provide them invoice of your NZXT AER140 RGB & HUE+ purchase, so that they can ship you the connector cable for LED strips. You can read the same info from Extension kit specs page.

Waiting time for me was about one month. The good part is that NZXT will ship worldwide and i didn't have to pay any shipping fees. I also got shipping tracking number to track the progress of my shipment (started from Los Angeles, USA; ended in Estonia, Europe, where i live).

As far as LED strips go and since i have more than 1 PC in my household, i decided to buy HUE+ kit that comes with 4x LED strips and 2nd HUE+ controller, rather than buying 2x LED strips alone.
If you can't get the connector cable from NZXT then buy HUE+ kit since there are two connector cables for LEDs in it.
