Hi,
I've an Old Hard drive from Dell Laptop..And now i bought an Asus Rog laptop. As my new laptop have only ssd installed So I just want to add the old Hard drive to my Lappy.I don't want to copy old OS or C drive..I just want to use the old ones' other drive files(F,G,H)...I'd pirated OS installed on Old Laptop(I don't support any piracy or something) .But the Genuine is installed on New Laptop..So i don't want to mess with any sytem files or something on my New Rog lappy due to old one.
So,should i first format old drive or just connect it to the lappy?
Please suggest me what should i do??

EDIT: Just attached to the port and it's working without any problem !

ASUS ROG STRIX

You can just plug it in. Shouldn't do anything to the system.

I'm making the assumption that there is room for the drive. If not, you can always get an external USB enclosure for the drive and use it as an external.
