How to connect our computers through LAN to play games like Counter Strike

how will i configure counter strike game with two PC through LAN crossover cable at home...

Set static IPs on both computers to the same range 192.168.1.2 for one, 192.168.1.3 for the other, use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet. Gateway can be 192.168.1.1, does not matter in your case really. Turn off Firewalls on the computers, they should see each-other.
