[SOLVED] How to connect power supply to graphics card

Hi! I recently bought a new graphics card: Radeon 5700XT. There's no problems plugging it into my motherboard: A320M Grenade, however after watching countless youtube videos, there seems that there should be a cable that i plug in from the PSU to the Graphics card. I have inputs on the graphics card for 8 segments and 6 segments (small holes). But i cannot find any cords that should be plugged into it. My previous graphicscard only needed to be put in via the long connecting piece and did not require any more cordage. Im obviously a complete noob in regards to computers. Hopefully someone can help me, i've contacted several stores but no one seems to know what im talking about.

make and model of the psu?
if the psu don't have pcie 8/6+2 pin power, upgrade the psu

Then you need an appropriate power supply.

Either your power supply is very old, or very cheap.
