How to connect ps3/ps4 to monitor (vga)?

Does anyone have a solution on how to connect a ps3/ps4 to a monitor via vga? Just a random quick question; thanks in advance

Which ps3/ps4 output port do you wish/need to use?

E.g., DVI-x

Then "google" something like "DVI-x to vga adapter".

Not always possible in some combinations and you will have to read carefully. Some products tend to be hazy on the details - may physically connect but will not really work.
