how to connect Wifi to laptop without router or moderm

AM struggling to connect wifi to my laptop because i dont have a modem or router for internet.

to connect to Wi-Fi you need a access point.
So if you don't have one (router), you can try to nicely ask your neighbors to allow you to connect to their network or search for available open networks in your wi-fi settings.
