How to connect Wired and wireless connection at the same router for offline PC multiplayer gaming

Can you tell me please how to connect both wired and wireless connection at the same router for Gaming without internet...Just an offline multiplayer gaming...Using router as a HUB

It is configured the same way as you would if you had a internet connection. It works the same as if you had a internet connection that went down for some reason. The lan part continues to work. Just be sure the games do not really need anything from the internet.

i have a working internet connection but on a different router, i have an extra router without connecting to ISP...so i tried to use that extra router for local offline gaming instead of hub....when i connect using two laptops one wired and the other using wifi to that extra router, pinging both their IP it says destination net unreachable (manually configured IP), btw one laptop using windows 10 and the other windows 7, does the one with wired connection need a host or something? they both pinging good with wifi to wifi with DHCP enabled, but ethernet to wifi - destination net unreachable?????

Yess the game dont need any internet connection at all, the two laptops just pinging fail with each other, one with wired and one wifi
