how to control cooler master sickle flow 120 mm fan 3 pin

hi! Im just giving up hope about controlling the said case fan that i bought. Its running at full speed all the time acting as a rear exhaust fan. I have it plugged at my mother board with 4 pin but the fan connector is only 3 pin. My mobo is MSI h97m E35. Tried using speed fan and Msi command center but its just not working. I heard you cant controll a 3 pin fan connector wthout PWM blah blah but some say its possible through voltage throttling. Any help would be appreciated

Get a fan controller. Also try speedfan.

I've tried speed fan but to no avail. I followed tutorials but still, my fan runs at full speed.

Well then a hardware fan controller is your best bet. Also try messing with fan control settings in the BIOS.
