I would like to game and download stuff at thesame time, is there like a way to like give my game a higher priority so that my downloads wont bother my game's internet connection?

And this only on my pc not for other devices on thesame network.

I am on windows 8.1 and using wireless internet only.

You can probably get some program, I googled and found this, there may be something better or free, what do I know https://seriousbit.com/netbalancer/
Maybe, what are you downloading in the background? If torrents well duh. Unless you are using more or less the entire up and downstream I can't really see any issues. Only configuring your computer won't stop other network users from "bothering your game".

IF it was to be network wide you should look for your router's QoS (quality of service) setting, assuming you have this option, set it up so games are prioritised, often they have a few default configurations that'll prioritise something over the other. Maybe there are some that are device specific.
