How to conver RJ11 input to RJ 45 input

Hi i have D link N150 DSL 2730wireless router. It has RJ11 as input . But my service provider has RJ45 as input cable to routeer. how do i configure my router with RJ45 cable. How to connect RJ45 cable into RJ11 socket that my router has?

you could use rj11-rj45 converter. but be sure to call your isp if it's ok to use that converter.

It doesn't work like that. Your existing router is looking for a DSL signal through that RJ-11 port. Just physically changing the plug or port does not change the functionality of the router.

You need to buy a new router.
