Question How to convert Coax to Ethernet?

I recently moved into a new place. The router is on the other side of my wall and between this wall is a thick stone wall. I am trying to use the current coax plug in my room to hook up my pc. Comcast, like many other companies, will not allow you to use two modems unless you pay more. I am just looking to convert the coax plug into ethernet just to setup my one device. Is there anything out there that can do this? I bought a Motorola MOCA adapter thinking it could but I cannot seem to get it working.

There is something called a DECA adapter. I'm trying to do some research and found one other thread so far that mentions them.

I believe they can do 100 Mbps speed which is probably faster than your internet connection. I'm still researching that as well. At this point, I know enough to be dangerous.

To me, $25 is cheap enough to give them a shot. And the page says "free returns".

These are USB powered. You can also buy them with power supplies. I have NOT used either. I'm still researching.

If you want more on MoCA, the Actiontec website has a lot. https://www.actiontec.com/moca/
