How to convert FAT32 to NTFS? Can anyone tell me?

Reformat the drive

To convert FAT32 into NTFS you'll have to format the drive again using NTFS as file type system. You can't do this on your boot drive though i.e C:\.

If in Windows OS, right click on any drive which you want to convert into NTFS, click at Format and follow the steps.

OMG!!!
Boot into DOS first of all
then just
type this command
Convert H: /FS:NTFS
Where 'H' is the drive letter you want to convert to NTFS

NO need to format anything not even the System drive.

did you solve your problem? you may try a 3rd tool named partition wizard which can help u convert FAT to NTFS successfully
