How to convert Mikrotik router to Switch

I received a Mikrotik CRS125-24G-1S-RM from a friend. However, I do not know how to use the managed switch configuration page.
I want to use the Mikrotik as a L2 Switch as I already have a Ubiquiti Router.
I saw tutorials on the web using bridge-mode for switching, but i do not want to use it.
So is there a guide that is simple enough for me to understand and setup.

This is the problem with advanced equipment you will likely have to read at least part of the manual.

The vast majority managed switches I have used come from factory with all the ports in some default vlan and the switch only has some default management ip....unless it has a true console port then they do not even have ip assigned.

I would bet you could factory reset it and it would work as a layer 2 switch, as long as the default management ip did not conflict you likely could use it as a simple unmanged switch.

I have never seen that brand so you may be stuck reading the manual.
