P phaelax Distinguished Nov 19, 2013 380 7 19,015 Nov 6, 2018 #3 There is no specific VLC format. VLC just happens to support way more codecs than Windows media player. You can try downloading K-lite codec package and see if your videos will play in WMP then. Upvote 0 Downvote
