How to convert videos without quality dropping

Guys how to convert Blue-ray to AVI without quality dropping?

I'm using Aiseesoft Total Video Converter Platinum.

not going to happen. a 25-50gb file does not compress down to a 1-3gb sized file without loosing quality.
