Hi. I have a Huawei HG532f that is setup as my primary router and its working fine. I have another spare router nl. Zyxel VMG1312-B10D that I want to connect to the primary router to create an extra access point. I want to connect the two routers via lan cable. Could someone please give me the whole setup procedure. Thanks

Give your 2nd router a static IP address on the same subnet as the first but outside the dhcp scope. On the second router turn off DHCP, NAT and the firewall then connect the two routers LAN port to LAN port, do not use the WAN port on the second router. Set up your SSIDs and use different channels on the 5ghz and 2.4ghz to the first router.

I have change the settings according to your instructions but when I tried to connect my phone via wifi to the second router it says it "cannot obtain ip address"

My primary router is using the ip address 10.0.0.2 and the ip range is between 10.0.0.4 and 10.0.0.254. On my secondary router I used 10.0.0.3 with dhcp switch off.
