well if you have a wireless router login into it using 192.168.X.X (depending on what brand you have.. Linksys is 192.168.1.1 user name is Blank and default password is admin) then in there go to wireless and create it from there

Your router will have automatically set an SSID - unless you wish to change it for a goo dreason, it's best left alone.[/#000ff]

You should change it so its not left at default. Using a unique SSID you know its your AP broadcasting if everyone had linksys routers and dint change their SSID you would see whole bunch of linksys SSIDS and will not know which one yours

You only need to find out once and yours is the only one the key fits. 😀 I have customers who set their network up and called it SmithNet or JonesNet and have had people knocking on the door asking for the key!

thats why you would use a unique one that only that company would know.
