Windows 10 is one of the latest releases from Microsoft. This version of Windows has a very advanced user interface, support for universal apps and many personalization options. You might want to have multiple users accounts for use. You will need a chief administrator account through which you can perform the superlative significant functions. Here is how you create an administrator account in the Windows 10 system.

Step 1
Click ‘Windows’ icon

Firstly, single-click the ‘Windows’ icon. It is present at the bottom left corner of Windows taskbar. You will then see the list of settings option and applications.

Step 2
Click ‘Settings’ option

In the start menu option, select the ‘Settings’ option to view the Windows 10 settings options.

Step 3
Click ‘Accounts’ option

In the Settings window, you will find the system, device, phone, gaming, time, accounts, app, personalization settings, etc. Here choose the ‘Accounts’ option.

Step 4
Choose ‘Family & other people’ option

In the Account settings window, you will find user account related settings options. Choose the ‘ Family & other people’ option as shown below.

Step 5
Click ‘Add someone else to this PC’

In the ‘Family & other people’ section, choose the ‘Add someone else to this PC’ option to create a new administrator account in Windows 10.

Step 6
Enter the account details

Now, enter the ‘Account details’ like name, password and password hint. After entering, click the ‘Next’ button

Step 7
Click ‘Change account type’

In the ‘Family & other people’ section, select the newly created account. Now choose the ‘Change account type’ option as shown in the below image.

Step 8
Click ‘Administrator’ option

In the change account type dialog box, choose ‘Administrator’ option as shown,

Step 9
Click ‘OK’ option

Confirm your ‘Administrator’ option selection by clicking the ‘OK’ button.
