how to create data base for usb to play on car radio

so i have music on usb and the car does play it. it does not show any titles or album info. the radio asks me to create a data base though. how do i do that?

Assuming it's mp3 files? You will just simply need to tag them, meaning you will write the info as meta data into the files. Just google for a free program that can tag MP3 files and other formats as well.

well this worked perfect for being able to label each title from vinyl recorded to usb . car still says to create data base. it works and it does show the song information now . dont know what it wants me to do regarding create data base. this may just remain an unsolved mystery

You could also use this if you want MP3 cd's. Not a bad program for a freebie.
