I've watched some of youtube builders have a anti-static elecricity sort of panel which is placing on the table, and all building going on this panel.

Do I need to carry about it too?

Is this a real issue about static electricity when you are building you PC on your wood table?

Solution
You don't really have to worry about static discharge but it is useful to take precautions. If you put your motherboard on the box and dont build on carpet, there is a very low risk of esd. Wood won't short anything out and isn't particularly prone to static buildup. If you are really worried, you can plug your PSU in and touch the metal outside of the PSU, which is grounded. This will get rid of static buildup on you. Static discharge isn't usually the killer of components.
