Question how to delete a driver from device manager (that i dont want to use)

As the topic, I installed a newer driver for my monitor and had some problems after installing it.
I went back to the generic driver but now if i choose to update it will install the newer driver.
So my question is, how do i remove it from device manager registry?

Stay out of the Registry. Registry editing is a last resort.

Make and model monitor?

Open Device Manager.

Left click the > just before Monitors

A window should open listing the monitors.

Right click on your monitor. Select uninstall device.
