How to delete a folder from my desktop

whenever i want to delete the folder it gives me message says :- the folder isnot accessible . the folder is denied

Are you the admin account?

Or is it program file which is running? If yes then you need to stop the program and delete the file.

You can also try booting onto safe mode and then see if it will let you delete it.
