Hey i recently bought a new monitor and it came with a hdmi cable which i didnt need to use. But at first i plugged it in and it switched my graphics card with my gtx 1080 to a intel graphics card 630. And i all i needed to do was to unplug the hdmi to fix it. But the intel grapichs thing was still on my computer but not in use so i deleted it from uninstall programs thing in control panel. But i still showed up in msconfig. How do i completely remove it? And btw one more tiny question i use razer game booster and there is a setting called change to high performance power plan when boosted. And i use ultimate performance power plan so should i leave it unticked?

Solution
you cannot delete the intel video card it is in your motherboard, but you can disable it in your BIOS settings, change the video card primary to PCIE and set multiple cards to off. this should disable the on board video card then you can always download DDU, reboot in safe mode and tear the rest of the drivers from intel (select intel on the pull down card selector ) and be done, but just disabling it is all you need truth be told.

I would say you don't even need to disable it. Just ignore it. This way, if your graphic card ever dies, you still have the Intel as a backup. It's not being used. It's not taking up resources. It's kind of like your appendix. I always recommend treating it like such. It's there, but that's no reason to cut it out.
