How to determine wheter pc is sff or mini tower?

i have a dell optiplex 5040 series pc with i7 6th gen processor
4 GB RAM
500 space
i was thinking my pc was a sff but recent searches make me doubt about this ... it could be a minitower

That computer based on reviewing the images is a Small Form Factor. For comparison here is a mid-tower.

its a mini tower ... i did some more research

here it shows the height and widht and i measured so it is mini tower

Alright so your Dell is what is called a mini tower. Small form factor from dell are the 7000 series only. Yours is small but SFF is even smaller. For example an SFF compared to a mini tower:

Not too long ago your computer would have been called a small form factor. However its 2016 and now we have computers the size of flash drives so a naming adjustment had to be made.

First you'll have to check if there is a PCIE slot on the motherboard. Then youll have to get a PSU that fits that mini tower which I can help with.
