Hi,
I have an HP Omen 15 laptop that runs on Windows 11. Recently, I have updated the operating system to the 22H2 version.
When the HP's AMD graphics driver of the laptop is auto-downloaded and updated by Windows (through Windows Updates), then that AMD graphics driver creates a major issue- the system temperature randomly shoots up to 100 degree Celsius even when the whole computer is idle and doing nothing. And I still do not know why this happens; maybe it is due to incompatibility or unstable drivers from HP.
But when I download the AMD Adrenaline Edition drivers straight from AMD, it does not create any issues. The AMD Adrenaline Edition driver works perfectly.
Therefore, I want to keep the AMD Adrenaline Software and its drivers and want to disable the auto-update feature for HP's AMD drivers from Windows Updates.
Can you please give me an idea of how to disable auto-update of HP's AMD graphics or display drivers from Windows Updates?
Many thanks
