how to disable DHCP

how do i Disable DHCP on windows 8 and im using the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

DHCP is sent by the router you can't turn it off. The best you can do with a end client machine is not ask for a ip and set it statically. Just go into the IPv4 properties on the controller and click the boxes to manual set the ip.
