how to disable notifications?

Solution
Top right corner.. Options>Content>Notifications>Choose which sites are allowed to send you notifications.

Click choose, then remove tomshardware.onesignal.com.

If you mean email notifications on topics tracked, go to your account settings on this site and select how you wish to be notified on latest posts under Contact Mode.
If you mean the push notifications, go into your browser settings, then in content>notifications (or wording to that effect) remove the tomshardware.onesignal.com entry.

If you say which browser it'd be easier to give more details.

Hey Rat, next time the pop up shows up please click the gear on the notification. This should bring up a permission dialogue box as shown below:

Once you see this dialogue box please find the Tom's Hardware URL, or any other URL notifications you would like to block and toggle it to "Block".
