My Brother printer display is showing replace cartridge for LC51. It has not been used that much. Is there any way the sensor can be disabled or bypassed so that the remaining ink in the carrtidge can be used up?

Hi there,
Rather than run out for a new toner cartridge use a small (.5 x .5 in.) piece of black electrical tape to cover the sensor hole on the non-gear side of the cartridge. By covering the hole the printer is fooled into thinking the hopper is full of toner.
