[SOLVED] how to disable sign in?

When my PC is in idle mode it switches always to this windows screen with that annoying question and i have to click on sign in! how can i disable this?

Settings, Accounts, Sign-In options. Then scroll down to Require Sign-in and change it to "Never".

I turn off "When PC wakes up from sleep" and go to "Never" as part of my standard Windows 10 tasks.

Do you mean that your PC goes to the screen saver when you don't use it for some time and it asks you to sing in again or when you put it into sleep mode? I think the former is the case.

The "when I have my PC in idle mode" comment strongly suggests the machine going to sleep and later being awaken, not a true shutdown/power up cycle.

windows "sometimes" forgets to auto login so its main reason I don't use auto logon process. I had to create a new user once as my profile got busted and PC would auto login as a guest account. Its normally okay, I just had 1 bad experience and decided it doesn't take that much more time to put a password in every startup.
