You might not want or need to use Siri. To stop Siri services on your MacBook you need to disable it, then restart your system to terminate any Siri processes running in the background.
Disabling Siri will deactivate all Siri keyboard shortcuts and the ‘Hey Siri’ voice input. To continue, follow these simple steps.

1. Open ‘System Preferences’
Click on the ‘System Preferences’ icon in the dock on your home screen. The ‘System Preferences’ window will open. At the bottom of the screen, you will see the ‘Siri’ settings icon.
Alternatively, you can open ‘System Preferences’ by clicking on the ‘Apple’ logo in the navigation panel on your home screen. A drop-down list will appear. You can select ‘System Preferences’ from this list.

You can also choose to disable Siri Voice Feedback instead of entirely disabling ‘Siri’. You can do that by simply clicking the On button under the Voice Feedback tag in the Siri preference settings.
