How do you separate the case on a small pininfarina Simpletech hard drive case? The smaller cases do not have the screws that are referenced in the larger drive disassembly articles.
In some of these external drives, the screws are hidden underneath the rubber feet on the bottom of it.
Thanks for the quick reply! This particular drive has two very thin (.06 wide) rubber strips across the bottom. I pulled both off and saw no fastener heads - unfortunately. It appears to "snap" together upon assembly. I have tried to carefully pry from a couple angles and quickly learned that if I pry in the wrong way, it will destroy the case.
