[SOLVED] How to disble Windows Popup?

Ever since one of the latest W10 updates, I've had this weather icon on my Taskbar.

Every time my mouse pointer rests on the icon, I get this popup.

So far, I have not found a way to disable it. It appears to be associated with Microsoft's Browser perhaps, which I do not use. Does anyone else have this? Is there a way to get rid of the icon/popup appearing on my taskbar?

Right click on it. There should be a checkmark you can undo. I have done it to all of my PC, but cannot recall exactly what it was that eliminated it. Wasn't hard, but I am not seeing a way to bring it back (which is fine).

edit- right click task bar. News and Interests/turn off
