Hi, I'm using 2 separate drives with Win 10 (2 MBRs...) . And I want to complely disable the 2nd drive when booting from 1st. Is there a way to do that in OS or even using BIOS? (Board is a Gigabyte.)

Solution
Dual boot system?

There are switches available.

For example:

https://www.amazon.com/Switch-Module-Independent-Controller-Protection/dp/B07WNDGLJ3

Google "Hard Drive Power Switch" and revise words and phrasing as necessary to focus on specific requirements.

However, you must be careful about such things because drive power losses can cause drive corruption affecting the hosted OS, applications, and data.

What are you specifically intending or trying to do?

i read it as How to disassemble a HDD and thought, this is going to be fun... I am almost sad I read it wrong :)

think he is dual booting and just wants to make sure other drive isn't seen by other install. I am not sure how you would achieve that.

that is an interesting switch ralston, not sure what it does?
