Most modern day LCD or flatpanels often come with a source input feature. Some automatically detect, other have to be set manually. How do you set them manually? I got screen and mouse working only to turn on computer and everything on screen is huge, zoom or resolution doesn't help because it's something else but I don't know what to try.

You need to set the display resolution in Windows to the "native resolution" of your LCD monitor.

The "source input" selection on a monitor's setup menu only applies to multi-input televisions which can also be used as a PC monitor or a game-console display. Dedicated PC monitors do not require source input to be selected.

set the display resolution in Windows to the "native resolution" of your LCD monitor. How do I do that? Do you think changing the DVI cord caused the computer not to recognize the monitor? I am not computer savvy lol. Thanks for your help.
