how to do Xeon pin moding ??

hello friend's ...... I have intel xeon e5205 1.89ghz 6mb cache , iam using this cpu in lenovo d10 and i wanna know how to do pin moding in this processor , i mean after i will do the pin moding it will overclock .so please help me if some1 knows how to overclock intel xeon processor via pin moding process !!! ... 🙁... 😛

And OEM boards don't have overclocking BIOS so you can't overclock. The mod has nothing to do with that

I'm doing this a lot lately, that board does not allow BIOS overclock.

my frndz iam asking a overclock through Pin moding ..... um its the joining of pins of processor or blocking theiir contact with socket of mobo ... :/

Not recommended.

I don't know the difference between Lenovo's D10 models, but:
1) There is a max TDP so the CPU needs to be under that
2) the BIOS must have your CPU model listed
3) Overclocking must be supported.

I'll admit this is not my area of expertise so perhaps by "overclocking" you're just forcing the CPU to run at a higher frequency than the model normally supports but IS supported by the laptop.

The bottom line is that unless someone has gotten this to work on your EXACT model of CPU and laptop there's a lot of reasons why it might fail.
