I'll try to be breif;I have a Compaq, presario, with a hp 722c desk jet
printer. I recently let a rookie try to download windows98 SE. He only
messed it up more, so i took it to a real computer shop and he
straightened it out. So when I try to print it says I must down load
printer, tried that but says I need 98SE disk, Computer shop gave me
one, Tried to do every thing it said to do on screen but still will not
work.Says disk not reconized. The printer worked fine before all this
started. Can anybody help with this or does it sound like computer shop
again. I'm on the on the one plan with MSN. I have a web plus, which I;m
writing on now and the new MSN tv also, which I truly love the web
boxes. I have a HP 5550 on the msn tv , no problems at all ,I've been
on msn 4 yrs. only a few months with the computer, it seems to be more
trouble than it's worth. I paid very little for it. You get what you
pay for. Thanks K.R. in S.C.

Just go to HP site and download the driver from there and install it
manually. The 722 driver never came with Win XP and I doubt they were
available for older Windows anyway.
