in most Linux distros there is a thing called grub and it does the boot managing thing
if you set your default boot on your Linux you probably see a menu before entering to os, if it doesn't have the Windows option in it and it's only your mint, then on your mint terminal type this
sudo update-grub
if there is no such thing then type
sudo grub-install
also if you want to have a fancy look boot manager you can try "rEFInd" and install some themes on it
