How to edit screen resolution on dell inspiron 8100

Hello, I have a dire problem on my dell inspiron. I tried setting the screen to the smallest screen size and now is not large enough to do a lot. PLEASE HELP!

Right click on the desktop and choose Properties. Choose the Settings tab, then choose another screen resolution.
